Educational Workshops

 

 

Cultural Drum Circles are an exciting and fun extra curriculum for children, of all ages, to take part in. 

Drumming and/or dancing can help develop and encourage, desirable group interaction skills that are necessary when participating in group activities, whether in the classroom, in the playground or on the sports field.

 

"There is no wrong or right note with drumming and children can freely express there individuality."

 

Cultural workshops help build on individuals self-esteem by raising their confidence and focus, whilst they perform and make music in a non-judgmental, team environment. 

A group, or individual, with confidence and focus is a group (or individual) with energy and power, and they will generally have a strong determination to succeed in whatever they undertake.

Individuals are free to progress at their own pace and are given plenty of help and support during and after participating.

 

"Drumming contains a musical science that lies waiting to be re-discovered and explored."

 

Performing in drum circles or dancing can offer all the things provided in team environments, without the  excessive physical energy (only if desired), and can be enjoyed by all children, of all ages.

Most of all drumming in groups provides an endless amount of positive energy which stays with participants long after the drumming has stopped.

Cultural Circles are great fun for all the family.
